How to find your macUUID?!

Working on an IOS project, recently I needed my MacBook pro UUID and realized that things have changed! and the articles on the web were all the old ones!
So I decided to document it here to help those who seek or something :/

Let’s get to it!

  • TLDR; check Images at the bottom!
  • Click on that  (Apple) icon on the up-right corner of the screen.
  • Select About this mac from the menu.
  • Then click on the System Report… button.
  • And there you have it, under Hardware UUID:

Needless to say, this is private information and you should not share it or put it in any kind of versioning tool or internet and stuff!

Take care y’all!
