Trump vs Tehran: What might be on the table?

The Art & the Deal:
Trump wants a win, not a deal.
The difference is that the outcome is going to be performance-driven, transactional, and optics-heavy, rather than policy-driven. A Big, Showy “Legacy Deal” is expected from president Trump.
But in this case, that might not even be a bad thing. As for the actual people of Iran and the rest of the world ( including the US, the west, and even Israel ), policies has always been just temporary bandages, only prolonging the underlying problems.
The only, and only purpose of these policy-driven efforts has clearly been to postpone an eventual war, and importantly not to eliminate the possibility of a war, maybe with the hope of coming by a miraculous solution later down the road, while still guaranteeing the continuation of the suffering of the people of Iran under excruciating sanctions and the continuation of the development of secondary and tertiary militant proxies in the region and the world, making the approaching war even more destructive and unmanageable.
